Nícolas Porto Silva is a Brazilian classical guitarist residing in New York (USA) who works as a soloist, chamber musician, producer and teacher. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at Stony Brook University and teaches the undergraduate guitar studio under the guidance of João Luiz Rezende.

Nicolas started his studies with his father, Marcos Silva, at the age of 7. Because he started to stand out as a talented guitar player, while he was very young, he was invited to perform in many TV shows, which gave him the opportunity to perform many concerts around Brazil during his childhood. His debut with the orchestra took place in 2019 and was shown on national television, performing Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Concerto no. 1 for Guitar and Orchestra. He obtained a bachelor degree with honors at Federal University of Goiás, under Eduardo Meirinhos, further receiving guidance from Fabio Zanon in São Paulo between 2015 and 2021.

Nícolas has won the main guitar competitions in Brazil and is one of the co-founders of BCGC (Brazilian Classical Guitar Community), a project that aims to promote and disseminate cycles of works by composers, living or not, through online collective concerts. He has participated and collaborated in various projects related to instrumental music and is one of the artists on the Guitar by Masters (USA) roster, platform for new editions of works and tutoring. As a performer, Nicolas has had works dedicated to him and has given national and world premieres, working to disseminate the contemporary repertoire for guitar. Since 2024, he has formed a guitar quartet together with Eduardo Gutterres, Octavio Deluchi and João Luiz, with the aim of developing the possibilities of authorial repertoire and arrangements for the formation. Nicolas plays an Abreu guitar and he is an Augustine Artist, using the Regal/Blue strings.
